You do not have to be part of a college team or club to fence
You don’t have to fence for your college team or club to enjoy all that fencing can give you. Our local college clubs are awesome- but if that is not your gig- no worries.
If you are already a fencer - we welcome you to come bout during open fencing time. You can join in the Friday Footwork and Conditioning class (included), or train on your own at the club.

We make it ridiculously affordable for you to fence
Coach Julio and Tania want to pay for your college education. Unfortunately, we can’t. However, we are giving college students the biggest discount we possibly can.
Join as a membership only or take advantage of the special college package of college and lessons. Both are ridiculously affordable.
Pay by the month or by the year;
College Students (w/ID) membership is only $60. per month or $620. per year.
College Student Lesson & Membership package; includes full membership to the club and lessons with Coach Julio Diaz

Private lessons with Coach Julio - the Special College Student Lesson & Membership Package
(Coach Julio is the Head Coach at UF Fencing Club in Gainesville. However, you do not have to take lessons to be a member of the UF Fencing Club. That is a separate college organization.)
Lesson packages for college students will now include a membership to the fencing club. It does not do fencers well if they are taking lessons and not fencing. You cannot improve what you don’t practice. Also, we want you fencing and having fun in the sport. The camaraderie and community of fencing is a part of the club experience that will promote your fencing abilities, and enjoyment.
We have strived to keep the fencing club as affordable as possible. As such we will continue to offer the package lessons at the (very discounted) same rate, $X per lesson for student packages as long as we can. This is more than half off regular lesson charges and much less than the country average which is $40 per 20 minutes.
Each month, at two lessons per week, will cost 40 dollars more this year. However, this will now include a full club membership. You will have access to the fencing club at all times for bouting, training and club events.
This means that if you purchase a college lesson package you will be paying a deep discount on lessons and membership. We will only offer this package to college students. Realize that spaces are limited and we will do our best to accommodate as many students as possible.
